2011/11/24 Quality of the United States Food Soybean Crop: 2011

THE 11TH ANNUAL JAPANESE PARTNERSHIP TEAM VISITED THE U.S.

The 11th Annual Partnership Team consisting of the representatives of the major soybean crushers, trading companies and related oilseed trade organizations visited the U.S. during August 19-24, 2007.　The team visited the USSEC office, the Danforth Center, the farm of USSEC board member and ASA Director Mike Cunningham, a river barge terminal and container loading facility. On Thursday, a roundtable meeting was held with ASA and USB directors in Chicago. Presentations were made on the 2007 Soybean Crop, U.S. production in low-lin soybeans, and future U.S. soybean Production. Japan presented on the future oilseed demand and market trends. USB and USSEC Directors Phil Bradshaw and Ken Dalenberg, former USB Chairman Curt Raasch, ASA Chairman Rick Ostlie, ASA First Vice President Johnny Dodson, along with ASA board members Dennis Bogaards and Bob Henry attended the roundtable.
